Project background:

This all about me building from the ground up, a real RobCo Terminal as seen in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. This project involves basic metal work, computer hardware knowledge, .bat code knowledge, airbrushing, and maybe more!

Main goal: Make a terminal like in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but give it a current feel.

Bonus: Would like to have an internal or external back up battery that could last about 5-10 minutes.

Day 1. Software

As many will tell you. The terminals in Fallout 3 and New Vegas have a special OS. Called: Unified Operating System. I'm using a .bat file to simulate this. However, I have to you set /p which isn't as accurate to the game as I'd like... When my project is done I might post a .exe version of this simulation. I've got the .bat file nearly done. just trying to give it some character.
